The Result
Building on this successful partnership, Zalmhuys expanded its capabilities with the purchase of a second 6-lane PBR in 2022, followed by a third PBR—a 4-lane model—in 2025. With the addition of the third pin-bone remover, Zalmhuys has been able to further elevate its processing efficiency, ensuring a consistently high-quality product with optimized yield. The automated systems have reduced manual handling and improved consistency. The partnership between Zalmhuys and Uni-Food Technic continues to evolve, underpinned by mutual trust, technical expertise, and a shared ambition to deliver the best possible product to the market.
